[Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, October 7] – The Limbang Tacik Ta’a, Ta’aktana Open Water Festival 2024, proudly sponsored by PT Fortuna Paradiso Optima (FPO) and Marriott International, was successfully held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Ta’aktana Beach, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Labuan Bajo.
Event initiator Renaldus Iwan Sumarta expressed his gratitude for the smooth execution of the festival’s inaugural open water swimming competition
“Thankfully, the weather and sea conditions were favorable today, allowing all activities to run safely and smoothly. Congratulations to the winners, and sincere thanks to all participants who took part in our first-ever event,” Iwan said.
Witnessing the high enthusiasm of participants, Race Director Xtoredy shared his plans to make Limbang Tacik Ta’a an annual event. He hopes it will continue to promote Labuan Bajo as one of Indonesia’s premier destinations for unforgettable sports tourism experiences for both athletes and visitors
“Beyond attracting more race participants, I hope this event also draws travelers and swimming enthusiasts from around the world to experience the festival, enjoy the stunning landscapes and waters of Komodo National Park, and immerse themselves in the cultural richness of Labuan Bajo and across Flores,” Xtoredy concluded.
